An Engineer is an advanced Alien being that appeared in the 2012 film Prometheus. Engineers are said to live on the planet LV-223. Individual Engineers have been observed to vary in appearance as well as abilities.
Background[]
Engineers invented a type of organic goo called black liquid in order to disassemble their DNA after drinking the liquid. Hence human life was created when one of the Engineers DNA reassembled in water. In Prometheus, the last Engineer is seen piloting one of the Derelicts.
